Day 10

Some bad news this morning. Her blood test showed that her liver has gotten worse. The Infectious Disease doctor told us that her sepsis is not responding well to the antibiotics. Keep praying for her, she needs it now more than ever.

  3. Dallas:

Thank you so much for your dedication to keep us informed of Dee's condition. I have only gottent to know your mom well in the last year. She is a dear friend of mine and I am so concerned! Let me know if there is anything that I can do. I am a nurse and please don't hesitate to call on me if you need anything! I will stop by and check on you all tomorrow. Here is my phone number: 713-206-2203. I love your Mom and know that she can pull through this and am praying for her constantly! Big hugs to all of you, hang in there, she needs us to be strong for her. Remember she can hear you so talk to her like she can understand you. She can feel your love and that alone is very healing! Love is the best medicine! Sylvia

  5. Dallas, I know this is a terribly difficult and fearful time for you and your family. You are so kind to put this blog together so that your mother's friends can keep up with her. I was absolutely shocked to learn about her sudden illness and how quickly it progressed to critical status. Yes we will pray for her and we have been each and every day. Your mothers smile and constant enthusiasm about life will give her great strength, and if anyone can win the fight she can! Cheri Smith
